My family and I lived in Hawaii from 2012 through 2018, and we visited Pearl Harbor frequently. This picture was taken from the ferry that delivers tourists in groups to the Arizona Memorial. Here, you see the flag flying over the Memorial on a beautiful day in Pearl Harbor. It is a quiet, sobering moment when you stand overlooking the sunken Arizona and watch beautiful fish swimming around happily in complete contrast to that fiery day in history when Pearl Harbor was attacked.
